Additional endorsements are available to further develop coverage to the policyholder’s unique needs, including a Cyber endorsement offering broad coverage features, Employment Practices, Business Brokering, Mortgage Brokering and several others.

Common Real Estate E&O Questions Is coverage available to New, Start-Up firms? Yes, coverage is available to new and established firms of all sizes. Prior Acts coverage is available for eligible firms showing proof of existing coverage. Are there any additional Endorsements or higher sub-limits available? Optional coverage for Cyber, Construction Development, Employment Practices Liability, Business Brokering and Mortgage Brokering is available, as well as contingent Bodily Injury/Property Damage with underwriting approval. Higher sub-limits for Fair Housing Discrimination and Failure to Disclose Existence of Fungi, Mold & Bacteria are also available. Will one policy cover multiple professional services, such as sales, property management and auctioneering, or are multiple policies required? The definition of Professional Services is extensive, and one policy would cover commercial & residential sales, renting & leasing, property management, appraising and auctioneering of real property, short-term escrow agent, referral agents, notary public, expert witness, real estate consultant or counselor and members of a real estate board or committee. A Note about Cyber Liability Insurance: Cybercrime has become a significant threat to Real Estate firms. Our Real Estate E&O coverage includes $25,000 of Fraudulently Induced Wire Transfer coverage at no additional premium to your clients. An optional Cyber Liability Insurance Endorsement is available to provide broad protection for the consequences and costs associated with Cyber attacks, Privacy Breaches, Ransomware and Computer Fraud.
