“Risk Management for Accounting Professionals”

This seminar will address common areas of practice risk encountered by CPAs, bookkeepers and tax professionals. The discussion will explore the standards of behavior set forth in ethical rules and regulations and how to design firm best practices to promote compliance. 

 At this session, participants will:

  • Identify characteristics of situations that can give rise to ethical and professional risk
  • Recognize the need for risk management evaluations at multiple stages in client engagements
  • Differentiate between courses of conduct that could minimize potential for error
  • Discover risk management techniques to protect, the participant his or her client and the profession
